How is you!
Say, Henney’s Handbook arrived late yesterday and is much appreciated. Right now I am studying Italian and only reading my engineering texts. I try to add ten more words to my written vocabulary every day. Then I give myself an exam on 100 words, and check off those which I know. In writing it, if I can’t write it without any hesitation, I consider that I don’t know the word. I also try to learn one new conjugation per day. It is slow work, but worthwhile. I know now that once I master any Romance language other than English, I’ll be able to master any of the others. Italian, incidentally, is most like English, and halfway between Spanish & French.
I haven’t had any letter for about a week.
When I get in a pack of newspapers, I only open 1 per day, and that helps a lot.
It sure is wet here. I spent an hour this morning oiling my British Battle boots. Weather here is nice like it is in New Jersey.
That’s all for now, Honey.

Love Cy.
