Miss Honey Chile:

I love you. Sorry, can’t help it.  Just a plain statement of fact.

If I were like a lot of these lugs I wouldn’t miss you so much.  About half of the officers here realize now that they married girls who didn’t give a damn what happened provided a good time was had by all.  Angel, you can’t realize what a comfort it is to have such a damned competent little buddy for a wife.  I’m very funny about roommates, but there’s one I had who is as easy to live with as it is to live alone.  You just plain don’t get on my nerves.  Not having you does.

I’m beginning to sneeze.  Must get to bed.

Realizing that we probably will never settle down, do you still want to adopt a baby until I can get home to start another one?  J.P. Willis did ok!

If anyone should ask you, you’re still the most successful wife in history—even from 6000 miles.

Love, your very spoiled brat,  Cy.
